Back in the saddle

Sorry for the unannounced leave of absence. Life and a few difficulties arose keeping me out of the loop.

There's been some good, and some really bad of the last two weeks, but all will be discussed.

Now is a good time to get back in the flow of things as the Big Ten is nearing its midway point, and the much-anticipated series with Michigan is on eve.

Until then, hopefully the Scarlet & Gray can get back on the right track with a win today, clinching the series against Penn State. Dean Wolosiansky is on the mound, looking to build off of a solid relief outing on Wednesday against Akron, hoping to erase memories of last Sunday in East Lansing.

Zach Hurley and Michael Stephens will look to continue their offensive tear, in front of hopefully more than 700 Buckeye backers in Bill Davis Stadium. Really less than 700 fans for a Saturday conference game? Come on people. Not that you can blame anyone who refuses to support whats ongoing under Bob Todd's watch.

Went to the game today,Dean W pitched really well but his infielders did him no favors in the 4th and then he got tired in the 8th and give up a couple long HR. The offense was a no show today and i love Burkhart to death but he is not the same kid from last spring. Also i have never seen this team hit into more Double plays then we have this yr. It is unreal. I bet we left close to a dozen runners on. The clutch 2-outs hit are not going our way at all. What a shame this weekend was cause on fri nights we can beat anyone in the country but Sat and Sun are a 50-50 toss up. I never saw this coming at all,i can assure you of that.
