Wimmers an All-American Yet Again

When Alex Wimmers finally agrees to a contract with the Minnesota Twins, he better make sure it is enough to buy a pretty large trophy case. The two-time Big Ten Pitcher of the Year has received another postseason honor, in picking up his fourth 2010 All-American award.

The latest AA honor comes from the American Baseball Coaches Association who in partner with Rawlings tabbed the junior right-handed pitcher a second-team All-American. This becomes Alex's second second-team selection as he previously was selected such by the National College Baseball Writers Association. The two paired with first-team All-American honors by PING! Baseball, and Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger, puts a stamp on Wimmers' career making him one of the most decorated Buckeyes regardless of sport.
